Each year, orchid societies and growers transform the show floor with displays filled with blooming orchids of every shape, size, and color.

Our 2027 exhibits are still being planned, but you can expect plenty of beautiful orchids—and probably a few that will have you adding something new to your wish list.

The Annual Memphis Orchid Show and Sale features breathtaking exhibits that highlight the beauty and diversity of orchids, with displays from local and regional growers, societies, and vendors. Visitors can marvel at the expertly curated show, showcasing everything from rare species to stunning hybrid varieties. 

The ribbon judging adds excitement to the event, as top orchids are recognized for their exceptional quality and presentation. Whether you're a seasoned orchid enthusiast or a curious newcomer, the exhibits and competition offer a captivating experience for all. 

Entrance to the exhibits is FREE ADMISSION.

One of the highlights of our annual Show & Sale is the opportunity to shop with specialty orchid growers and vendors.

Past MOS shows have welcomed vendors offering orchids ranging from beginner-friendly favorites to unusual species, hybrids, supplies, and plants you simply don't find at your neighborhood garden center.

The re-potting station at the Annual Memphis Orchid Show and Sale is a must-visit for anyone looking to improve their orchid care. Expert volunteers will be on hand to guide you through the process of re-potting your orchids, offering valuable tips and techniques to help your plants thrive. 

Best of all, this service is completely free, with a suggested donation of $5 to support the Memphis Orchid Society. 

Whether you're new to orchid care or a seasoned grower, it’s a great opportunity to learn and give your orchids a fresh start.

At the Annual Memphis Orchid Society Show & Sale, American Orchid Society (AOS) judges will be on hand to evaluate the stunning orchid displays and award ribbons, trophies, and coveted AOS honors to the top plants. Their expert evaluation is based on strict criteria, recognizing the finest qualities in orchid cultivation, presentation, and overall health. This prestigious judging process adds an exciting competitive element to the event, showcasing the dedication and skill of both local and regional growers. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to witness the judging firsthand and admire the award-winning orchids on display, making the show even more memorable!
